Doctor Doom has succeeded and tricked T’Challa, the former Black Panther. He has gotten the vibranium from the Panther God and is ready to start changing the world. The X-Men having failed in their mission to help the former king of Wakanda, the Fantastic Four are introduced to help out. But Doctor Doom is resilient. The Broker is on the scene helping Doom realize his ideal future. Is all lost?

This issue is more interesting than the first two. First, there is a comprehensive recap of the recent history of the Black Panther and how Doctor Doom has manipulated the once brilliant strategist. Second, the action is good enough. But the highlight of the issue is the discussion Doom has with the Panther God about why he is pure and worthy of wielding the vibranium. If this were the regular Black Panther series, it would be a big improvement over what transpires currently. I’m not sure how T’Challa will come out of this one. It seems that Doctor Doom is about to prevail all the way.

Eaton’s work is good, but the inking is crowed and makes the page seem to busy and muddied with details.
