Apples to Apples is a favourite is a comparison game that originated with a board and card and is being transformed into an online and mobile game. In Apples to Apples, players create humorous word combinations. Just released for the Xbox Live platform, Apples to Apples will be released on December 20 for the PlayStation Network, just in time for the holidays. The studio making the game, THQ has teamed up with the game’s publisher Mattel to release a version of the game for mobile devices and Facebook in early 2012.

The video game features bright but beautiful graphics. Martin Good, Executive Vice President of PlayTHQ, said ““We are thrilled to work with Mattel to bring Apples to Apples to the digital gaming space – it’s the perfect fit for social and mobile play. With multiple platforms and innovative connectivity, players will be able to enjoy the game wherever and whenever they want to play.”

The game supports local and online play and up to six players. There are 16 avatars that players can choose from. The Facebook version of the game will allow players to play with their smartphones. An needed feature in any update would be for all platforms be they on mobile, on Facebook or through a game console to allow users to interact with one another regardless of their playing device's origin.
