IRON MAN GETS BIRTHDAY SUPRISE

Museum Replicas Limited announced today, that their premium Classic Iron Man replica helmets will ship the end of November.  Two helmets, one in brass plated steel and the other in nickel plated steel, are preserving the costume of the original Iron Man from the characters first appearance in Marvel Comics’ Tales of Suspense #39.  The nickel helmet is being limited to 1,463 pieces while the brass helmet’s run is 500 pieces, so their combined total is 1963, the year of Iron Man’s first appearance.

Paramount Pictures will be bringing the adventures of Iron Man to movie theatre screens in May of 2008 with actor Robert Downey Jr. portraying billionaire playboy Tony Stark.  “As Hollywood delves into the comic book world more and more, we are seeing new fans take an interest in the comic books from which these movies are based and the original fans are revisiting the books that first stole their imaginations,” mused Museum Replicas’ Director of New Products, Dave DiPietro.  “The quality of these helmets will not disappoint any Iron Man fan.”

Each helmet has been hand made of steel, then richly plated, giving them the look, weight and the feel of what this metal superhero would wear. Costume aficionados will also enjoy the attention to detail from the padded interior to the adjustable liner, allowing for a comfortable fit. Every helmet comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity and full metal display stand with name plate. Wholesalers can place an order by calling 800-241-3664 ext. 49 and consumers can place their order by visiting www.windlassstudios.com .
