The Gentleman Ghost haunts the Justice Society as part of some wider plan to possibly return him to the world of the living. The story is intriguing especially with the moody art of Rags Morales providing strong visuals. But it is also rather skimpy on content. The Ghost by himself can hardly pose much of a threat to a team that includes the original Green Lantern, Power Girl and J.J. Thunder-- yet somehow, he does. Oddly, his hold arch-foe, Hawkman is left out of the action. The flashback scenes of the Ghost's hardknock life in olde England are moving but they can't sustain such a protracted story. Frankly, it looks like a two-part tale is being padded out so the story will end only after the big INFINITE CRISIS shindig.
