Ghost Rider is stuck in hell and every time he thinks he’s about to get away, the Devil tricks him. But the Ghost Rider has a plan. With of a ghost who looks like a white version of the Real Ghostbusters’s Slimmer, he discovers that he can make his way out. Unfortunately, the Devil is always one step in front of him. Can Ghost Rifer make a clean getaway?

Although a fun read, this series is Marvel’s latest sample of decompressed comics filled with padding that will eventually be released as a collected trade paper back. A decade ago, readers could get their money’s worth in comics. Not anymore. Writers barely write what once was but a prologue. No matter how cool the comic book is, filling it with void is a cheap trick to use on readers. I won’t bother sticking around for issue #2.

The artwork is flaming and has a nice colour pallette. The colourist should be credited for giving a 3D feel to the artwork.

7/10
