until Saturday, May 3 rd , when the winner will be crowned in Toronto. Regional winners from across Canada will even be flown to Toronto, courtesy of Nintendo of Canada. There are all kinds of prizes up for grabs, including a Grand Prize trip for two to the Nintendo World Store in New York City, $500 spending money included. For more details on the Canadian Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament, click here to see a PDF version of the poster, or go to www.nintendo.ca/brawl.

The American tournament is being run a little differently. Qualifiers for the American tournament begin the day before the game's March 9 th launch date (in other words, this Saturday) at a number of EB Games and GameStop stores across the U.S. In fact, there will be so many stores hosting the tournament that the entire list takes up 45 pages! So, to find out if your local EB Games or GameStop store is hosting the tournament, go to www.ebgames.com/smash or www.gamestop.com/smash (not that it matters) and click on “First Round Store Locations”. Prizing for the American tournament includes trophies, trips and a Grand Prize of an LCD TV, the entire First Party Wii software library, a Wii and some accessories, a trophy and $5,000 cash. All the details, including full tournament rules and regulations are also available at those sites.
