StarFest is one of the largest annual science fiction/multi-media events in the world. Started in 1977, StarFest attracts several thousand fans of popular culture for a weekend of social interaction, games and fun. There are over a hundred activities on the multi-track programming schedule. Events include film studio presentations, onstage Q&A sessions with actors, producers & directors, autograph and photograph opportunities with the guest stars, costume and talent contests, film festivals, model and art shows, collectible merchandise, educational seminars, discussion panels, kids events, fan club presentations, and assorted Klingons, Jedi and other strange and unusual creatures.

This year, our guest stars include: Brent Spiner (Lt. Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation), Katee Sackhoff (Starbuck from Battlestar:Galactica), Robert Picardo (Doctor from ST: Voyager and Commander from Stargate: Atlantis), Ethan Phillips (Neelix from ST: Voyager), Patricia Tallman ( Babylon 5) and William Katt (Greatest American Hero).

StarFest also features local film actors, writers and producers. Local talent featured at StarFest includes: Jamin Wimans Denver writer and director of the highly acclaimed film INK; Rachel Graham actor and writer of the short featureShaqani together with the film's producer Robert Berg III. New York Times best selling authors: Jeanne Stein (author of the popular Anna Strong Vampire Chronicles) and Carrie Vaughn (author of the Kitty werewolf series of books).

StarFest is famous for its eclectic Dealers’ Room. A veritable plethora of collectibles, cards, toys, games, photos, merchandise, and exotic items can be found. Fans flock to the Dealers' room seeking bargains and baubles from bizarre to banal.

HorrorFest is part of the StarFest Entertainment weekend with guests that include: Jed Rowan (Sawblade, Zombie Farm), Ari Lehman (the first Jason Voorhes from Friday the 13th movie series), Mario Acevedo (Author) just to mention a few.

All-New for 2009 is ComicFest, featuring writers and artists from the Comic field including: Brian Wood (Rockstar Games), Amy Reeder Hadley (Artists Madame Xanadu), Kevin J Anderson (Author Star Wars, Dune) and Jason and Heather Martin (Artists DC and Marvel comics) and many others.

GameFest will be returning this year. It is gaming convention and tournament featuring today's most popular games like Rock Band - Battle of the Bands, NBA 2K, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, Smash Brothers Brawl, Street Fighter 4, HALO 3 and Soul Calibur 4 with cash prizes and more! Open play with additional popular games will also be available throughout the weekend.

With so much to do at StarFest, it is amazing that it all fits into 3 days! We would love to have you join us for our next fun filled weekend of Entertainment Overload!
