After a long delay, Aspen MLT, Inc. will be releasing the final issue in the first volume of their action-adventure comedy series Shrugged, guaranteed in stores on January 7th. Shrugged is created and written by Michael Turner and Frank Mastroamuro, with art by Micah Gunnell, Jason Gorder, and Beth Sotelo.
Shrugged tells the tale of a young boy named Theo, and the two opposing forces swaying his every decision—and the dangers that arise from their choices.
As an added bonus to fans and retailers for their patience during the delay, Shrugged #8 includes 40 pages of story with no increase in the cover price at $2.99. In addition to the release of Shrugged #8 on January 7th, fans of the series can also purchase the entire first volume of the hit series as the Shrugged: “A Little Perspective” Volume One trade paperback arrives in stores on January 28th. The Shrugged TPB will also include the sold out Shrugged Beginnings and Shrugged Preview, and the hard-to-find Shrugged #0 issues.
