Claw learns that his traveling companions are not what they seem to be, while a beast with a familiar face stalks the land slaughtering all who come before him, demanding the question: Just whom does the prophecy speak of? Barbarian action and horror thrills come together in this tale of dark redemption and bloody revenge!

Claw the Unconquered has become one of my favorite series, this in spite of the fact that I personally believe that the Character of Claw is very generic. Issue #1 get's a pass because first impressions are well...first impressions. But since issue #2 and on, the Character of Claw really hasn't differentiated himself from your standard "Big Tough Barbarian" type Characters, this trend continues here. This may be due to the fact that he hasn't been put into many situation's where you can really see what his personality is, or, it may just be the fact that were only on issue #4 here. Either way, I really do hope that the Character of Claw open's up alittle bit in the coming issue's, this series is already awesome, imagine how much more awesome it could be if we actually cared who Claw was.

In Issue #4 Claw learn's the truth about his Traveling Companions, and finally makes it to the Westward Wall. While Dara's anger and desire for Revenge aganst the Claw-Like-beast that Raped her builds. Issue #4 does a really good job at bringing this story full circle - what I feel to be an inevitable meeting between all of these Characters.

If your into fantasy stuff, then reading Claw is a no Brainer, it really is a good series. With solid Art and Story, the only thing keeping this series from being perfect is the somewhat lackluster main character, if they can just give the guy a voice - someway of showing us that he's more then a big strong guy who kill's people and say's something cool every once in a while, then this series could be perfect.

8 out of 10
