Rated PG-13 for intense action violence

The start of the film was interesting and full of action, The Avengers Assemble by request of Nick Fury to travel to the land of Wakanda and investigate alien activities.

The storyline of this movie has potential, however long time fans of certain characters might be dissapointed by the drastic change that the Ultimates franchise has taken on our heroes. The Hulk lacks any significant appearance which is dissapointing because they always show Bruce Banner confined in a lab which leads us to believe The Hulk is soon to come, but alas nothing special.

Thor is powered down, and Captain America is more aggressive than usual. The Wasp and Giant Man continue their bickering.

The alien invaders are the same from the first film, just in a juiced up form. This movie also seems to focus too much on the Black Panther and not the others. Captain America has flashbacks from WWII which seem interesting but then nothing great surmounts from them.

Overall after watching this film you will be satisfied, as a long time fan of comic book heroes I enjoyed the film, but it's not one I would watch more than once in the same day. If you loved the first Ultimate Avengers film then you will love this one too, just don't expect the same feeling of anticipation as from the first one.

Despite some minor grievances I would recommend seeing this movie! Hey it's the Avengers!

Animation 9.5/10

Story 7/10

Overall 8/10
