Comics

Rob Liefled has filed a complaint over the registration of the trademark of Supreme. Liefeld created the series and is contesting one Nuben Azar’s patent and trademark filing for comic publication. More at Bleeding Cool.

The creators of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are reuniting for a special anthology. IDW’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 30th Anniversary Special will feature a wrap cover by the original creators, who have not exactly seen eye-to-eye for most of those 30 years. More at Comics Alliance.

Diamond Comic Distributor’s own answer to digital comics, Diamond Digital, is closing up on Feb. 28. The digital comics provider “has not gained enough traction in the marketplace to continue” according to a press release. More at The Hollywood Reporter.

Film

Ghostbusters actor Mark Caro has passed away at 69. The actor was also a talented director and writer and died from a rare blood vessel disease. More at the Chicago Tribune.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has dropped yet another trailer. This one is called "Rise of Electro," features new footage, and is over three minutes long. Watch it below:





Amanda Seyfried is going to play the female lead in Ted 2. This is due to a creative decision by Seth McFarlane and nothing against Mila Kunis, who was the female lead in the first Ted film. More at Deadline.

Tim Story has signed on to direct a comedy film about Dennis Rodman’s highly controversial trips to North Korea. The movie will be produced by Peter Chernin for Fox. More at The Hollywood Reporter.

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, the brains behind Superbad and the upcoming Preacher adaptation, are also adapting Console Wars to film. The book chronicles the battle between Sega and Nintendo in the 80s and 90s. More at the AV Club.

The Lego Movie’s sequel doesn’t even have a name yet but it does have a release date. 2 Fast 2 Lego (the AV Club’s suggestion) is set for a May 26, 2017 release and will be written by Jared Stern. More at Collider.

Television
NBC is set to revive the Heroes franchise. Despite abysmal ratings at the end of the series’ critically-panned fourth season, NBC is making a Heroes: Reborn miniseries that may see some of the original cast back. More on Youtube.

Office Space and Beavis and Butthead creator Mike Judge has a new show on HBO. It’s called Silicon Valley, is about guys who wear shirts like “I Know HTML (How to Meet Ladies),” and you can watch the trailer below:




2% of all Netflix users have finished the latest season of House of Cards. The Kevin Spacey-led show was released on Valentine’s Day. More at TV Line.

Speaking of Netflix, American Netflix now has every episode of Breaking Bad. More at Mashable.
