It’s Iron Man, Director of SHIELD versus a new Mandarin and his deadly plot to release a killer virus that transforms men into killer super zombies – or something like that. While Iron Man wants to contain everything, can SHIELD be of any assist?

This story’s premise is so all over the place, that the introductory page made no sense. But it really didn’t matter as it was but an action driven story with lots of fighting and special effects. I really like seeing the old Iron Man armour here and see how well or bad it fares against a modern threat was interesting.

I must admit that nevertheless, there wasn’t much to keep me interested. Perhaps the surprise cliff-hanger will. Who knows?

De la Torre is really an impressive artist whose work makes Iron Man look like an epic character. There is a quality to his action shots, his facial expression, his storytelling, his figure drawings and the special effects. Where has this artist been hiding all these years?
