Tony Stark needs new weapons to fight the Grey Gargoyle that has taken over Paris and transformed it into a city of stones instead of a city of light. Defeated previously by the villain transformed into greater menace, Iron Man asks Odin for help in defeating this old enemy. Odin gifts Stark the labour of the dwarves. The Dwarves make weapons for Asgardians and will help him create any kind of repulsor technology he needs, but much bigger and more powerful.

The premise of Tony Stark drinking a beer with dwarves, that sounds stupid. Its expected in Thor, but looks out of place in Iron Man. Yet, the story is really about the depth Stark will go to win and defeat an opponent. As he says it himself, he gives Odin, his two most cherished possessions, his sobriety and his dignity. The pace continues to be slow on this series, but this issues’ saving grace is that it’s part of another interrupting company-wide crossover (even if it’s led by Fraction).

Larroca is a great artist as usual and I like how he draws the dwarves. His work is splendid as usual. One thing important has to be said about his work. He has successfully delivered almost all issues of Iron Man since the 2008 almost always on time and still continues to work on the series while not missing deadlines. This is not very common these days.
