Look out Iron-Man, you got a bogey on your tail. Oh forget Iron-Man, this action figure is known for dropping out of the sky and making G.I. Joe worry about more than just rain-drops falling on their heads. This action figure looks like he was designed to fight for Doctor Doom. Hasbro really stepped up their game in the 8"-inch figure department. The Ninja B.A.T. figure was great, and now it is followed up by its air-borne brother.

The Sky B.A.T. comes with wings, guns, a cool blue armored design, and whole lot of articulation. You can pose the Sky B.A.T. in many stances so that he fight off any foe he faces as well as look cool doing it. The figure has great stability because of the size of his feet and the helmet reminds you what the now deceased Ant-Man from Marvel Comics should have looked like. Just imagine G.I. Joe doing battle with the flying proto-type to the T-800 from the Terminator movies and that is what you get in a Sky B.A.T. figure. I may just have to purchase several of these action figures to fend off my collection of Marvel and DC heroes. (Hey, forget the OMAC's and Sentinels, I'm getting Sky B.A.T.s, baby).

In fact, I own none of the Sigma 6 figures because of the size of the 8'-inch scale. When most of what I own is in the 6 - 7" inch range, 8 inches of toy seems like overkill. But because these are robots (androids), they fit the bill just fine. I just hope that when Hasbro takes over the Marvel action figure franchise, that they give as much care to detail to Spider-Man and company as they do the G.I. Joe stuff.
