Television
The Venture Bros. won't be back until 2015 for a sixth season. Creators Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer were at NYCC but had little to say about the upcoming season, but did hint that 2014 might see an hour long special. More at

The Walking Dead has cast two
more characters: Southland's Michael Cudlitz and Josh McDermott will
play Abraham and Eugene Porter respectively. More at

Comics
Marvel announced what all their cryptic posters were referring to over the past couple of days. The publisher will be releasing a bunch of #1s in March as the "All New Marvel NOW!" initiative, according to
IGN and here is a summary of what they are and their respective teams.:

78 year-old legendary manga creator Kazuo Koike is continuing his famous series
Lone Wolf & Cub series. Dark Horse has been publishing translations of his work, but no word yet if the new series will be translated. More at

Mouse Guard will be returning in 2014 with "The Weasel War of 1149." The mini-series will be longer than previous installments, but creator David Peterson announced he will be stepping away from
Mouse Guard for a while after its completion. More at

Avatar Press announced a new sci-fi focused line to compliment their horror comic line. The new initiative will launch with Garth Ennis'
Caliban and two other series:
Neuro-Trash and

Long running Vertigo title
The Unwritten will relaunch as a twelve-issue miniseries next year. The second volume will be called "Apocalypse" and will mark the end of the series in its entirety. More at

The copyright nightmare that is
MiracleMan will be seeing the light of day again. Marvel announced Neil Gaiman will return to finish the series with artist Mark Buckingham. The long out of print material will start being republished in January and culminate in Gaiman's finale. More at
