Bruce Wayne escorts a priceless fossil collection from Gotham to the Green Hornet’s home city. Britt Reid also joins the escort as a reporter for the Daily Sentinel. While the old friends debate Batman and Green Hornet's aesthetics, General Gumm stops the train with glue. As each dynamic vigilante team jumps in to costume to stop the heist, they face death. Gumm  glues Batman, Robin, Green Hornet, and Kato on top of the train as it approaches a tunnel. Will the vigilante make it alive for next month’s instalment?

I haven’t read any of the other Batman 66 comics. This one was fun and captures what I remember of the old television series. I barely recall the two guest stars with the Green Hornet and Kato so I’m not sure if Bruce Wayne and Britt Reid were always so competitive. The comic book doesn’t add anything that wasn’t in the television show. It is as camp. Although it feels less camp in the comic book even if the treatment is the same.

I usually like Ty Templeton’s work. Before reading this comic book I would have agreed that he would be the right illustrator for this adaptation. I don’t like the thick lines that he adds on all the figures. Was this another comic book, I would enjoy it. But here, it distracts and takes away from the realism of the figures. They barely look like the television stars. Kato doesn’t look like Bruce Lee at all.
