It’s Spider-man versus the Molten Man as he tries to save harry Osborne and his ex-wife and kid from the Molten Man who happens to be a part of the family. And just when things were getting too hot, Spider-man arrived for the rescue while Peter Parker quietly made his exit. Will the Molten Man be stopped?

I’ve enjoyed many of the recent Amazing Spider-Man stories, but this one a bit less. There was still the constant second degree jokes, with Harry Osborne thinking that Peter Parker and Spider-man are gay lovers. There is still a lot of soap opera material in there. However, this story didn’t connect. It was but a fight and an almost miraculous resolution at the end where all ended well for everybody. I’m not sure that I want to read about a Spider-man who has a good day.

I never knew that Mike McKone’s art could look like Phil Jiménez’s. It was a good issue with great graphics and great inking where each character looked like who they were supposed to be, as opposed to generic stick men. McKone is welcome to draw more issues in the future.
