Come December 2004, creator Todd Nauck will continue the reality TV super hero saga introduced in WILDGUARD: FIRE POWER. In this oneshot, Freezerburn, voted in as a member of a super hero team by readers of WILDGUARD: CASTING CALL, and his other team mates, “attempts to prove their worth as heroes, under the leadership of producer/superhero/superstar Four.” Conflicts arise as the team includes two flame-based heroes.
Nauck began his professional comic book career when Rob Liefeld from Extreme Studios hired him. There he worked on various series such as Newmen, Supreme, and Youngblood. Nauck quickly worked on other series for DC Comics, such as Young Justice and the Legion of Super Heroes. At Marvel Comics, he worked on Sensational Spider-man. Nauck's work is crisp, yet polished and perfectly suited for younger characters.
