WHEN: Thursday, June 21, from 6PM to 8PM
Zak Sally will be signing at Minneapolis' great BIG BRAIN COMICS store (where Michael and Clarence will be tending to your every need, comics-wise), and then after 8PM the festivities will move one block down the way to Grumpy's bar, where now-unlegendary cover band TOGPTFFSOTWOTEATSYOA will play a set (also known as Three Old Guys Play The First Five Songs Off The Wipers' Over The Edge Record And The Song Youth Of America). TOGPTFFSOTWOTEATSYOA features former LOW-bassist Sally singing and "guitarding." ex-Steel Pole Bathtubber Dale Flattum on bass, and Freddy Votel (ex-Cows, TVBC, current Skoal Kodiak, Total Fucking Blood, etc.) on drums. The band will play at 8:30 or so and get the hell offstage before karaoke starts at 10.
Sammy The Mouse is a great new addition to the Ignatz line of comics, the first issue of a long story about an alcoholic mouse and his pals that will eventually run over a couple hundred pages when it's done. Zak is producing some ridiculously huge, limited edition silkscreens for the event that you will not want to miss.
