Is Iron Lad (young Kang), now the puppet of Kang and if so, how can Captain America, Iron Man, Jessica and the young’uns stop him…..if their still around???

After the devastation of last issue, it was kinda intriguing to see how Heinberg would take the story this issue. What we get is pretty much all action, which isn’t a bad thing, per say, but you do have to question the performance of Captain America, Jessica Jones and Iron Man, in comparison to the kids. We do find out about Asgardian’s real power, in a roundabout sort of way. But this issue is really a big build up to the last chapter of the first arc.

Cheung is really impressive this issue, he works in perfect harmony with Justin Ponsor, to create some really atmospheric imagery. The only thing that was a little disappointing, for me, was the fact that some of the panels were small and couldn’t fully spotlight what was going one within. The cover was interesting, but it would have been clearer if the main image (Kang & Iron Lad) had more focus.
