The U.S. Government pulls out the BIG GUNS to deal with the mutant problem.

After the first three issues of this arc, the anticipation for what would come next had been rising, but now we know. The full extent of the Government conspiracy is coming to fruition in a big way and maybe the X-Men aren’t even prepared for the repercussions that could come out of this issue. Its not all action however, as Bendis gives us an insight into Angel’s mindset in certain things, as well as Fury and its interesting stuff.

Finch really shines this issue. All the scenes with Fury talking to Xavier have a tense fell to them. And coupled with the colouring, there is a real sense of an impending dire situation. The “New Mutants” look pretty good in their attire and Emma’s Ultimate look seems fitting, but still within the feel of her character. The action is immense and gripping, so when you see the last panel, the emphasis is heightened.
