The fans have been calling for it and ever since Venom, anticipation has been rife. But now its here………Ultimate Carnage!

However subliminal the clues are that have been dropped, this issue is very much a set up for things to come. Have we seen the potential Carnage, is what you'll be asking yourself. And the end definitely leaves you wondering. Peter is a lot of the time at his funniest when fighting, which lends to his character. The conversation with Dr Conners though highlighted the over dimension of his persona. And once again Bendis shows his love of the Spider-man myths.

Bagley doesn't loss step with the quality of this book and Scott Hana does another great job of filling in for Thilbert. Even though the opening panel is good, I think some of the best stuff this issue comes in the Museum scenes. The energy that is conveyed and the imagery used to signify speed, is really something. Is it just me though, or does Curt Conners look very much like Peter?
