Sue Storm has found herself in the subterranean domain of the misanthropic Dr Molevic, so what will be her fate. And has Reed, Johnny and Ben been able to come to terms with their new found powers, so the search for Sue can commence.

The thing I really liked about this issue was that we saw Johnny coming to terms with his powers. He didn’t automatically know how to use them, so this really made sense and felt like a natural thing to experience. Ben’s interaction with Reed was good as well. After this phenomenal event and devastating ramifications, anger seems like the logical emotion. The really freaky thing is Sue’s situation, as Dr Molevic seems to have some strange urges. But maybe New York should be more worried right now!

The first thing that struck me when I opened up this issue was the fact that Johnny seemed to look awfully old all of a sudden and that seemed to fluctuate throughout. However Kubert brings a really nice feel to the book and manages to convey so much emotion and story, with real ease. The look of malevolence on Dr Molevic face and the distain on Sue’s, is captured so well. And shadow from them when their walking down the tunnel :) When Ben explodes, that’s just great and it really does seem like he’s coming right at you. I do like the cover, but it is a little generic.
