Pen Spinning, the sport of manipulating customized pens through the fingers to create different tricks and trick combinations, has been attracting tens of thousands of people in both Europe and Asia. Now it’s making its way to the United States thanks to U.S. toy company, JAKKS Pacific.

JAKKS Pacific is bringing this pen spinning with SpinZ products, a line of unique, customizable pens and “ModZ” (customization accessories) that are designed for Pen Spinning, yet still write like real pens.

SpinZ is the official sponsor for the Pen Spinning World Cup 2008, which is currently featuring the most talented spinners from around the world to compete against each for the World Cup title. Pen spinners from France, Sweden, Germany, Thailand and others from around the globe have battled it out in the ultimate pen spinning competition.

"I've been Pen Spinning for over 15 years, and this is the first time a company has taken serious interest in Pen Spinning," said Kam Kuo, a world-renowned pen spinner and creator of Pentrix, the leading Pen Spinning site on the web today. "I am very excited to see JAKKS take this leading step in the history of this sport. With SpinZ, pen spinners no longer have to spend countless hours creating their own pen... they can pick up their SpinZ pen and start spinning. I have yet to see other products in the market that are as true to the sport of Pen Spinning as JAKKS’ Spinz."
