First of all, I would like to thank everyone associated with the site for their kindness, coolness, and allowing me to be apart of the team. I will surely make the most of it.
I am an on-line movie critic who does numerous reviews, columns, and interviews involving the movie industry all over the Internet. If you are interested in any of my work, type my name in the search engine on Google.com, and some of my work should pop up. If you would like links to some of my work, feel free to contact me.
I am not your typical movie critic in any sense. I am not arrogant, have my nose-in-the-air, or one of those newsletter dweebs who thinks the last great film came out in 1970. First and foremost, however, I am a movie fan. I am waiting in line with you paying for the overpriced tickets and calorie-laced food. I am approachable and always love to debate films with anyone. We are all connected. Watching movies is only half the fun. The other half is talking about them.
I started my career out following the pro-wrestling circuit as a reporter, journalist, and interviewer. I interviewed a lot of big stars on the Indy and WWE level. I also dabbled as a pro-wrestling manager for a few appearances. It also allowed me to get radio experience, miles on the road, and meet some of my best friends.
Eventually, it came time to where I realized pro-wrestling was not something I could do full-time. It was then time to refocus my life and follow my new passion and dream: Movies
Some of my favorite films of all time are Midnight Cowboy, A Streetcar Named Desire, On The Waterfront, At Close Range, Taxi Driver, among numerous others. Some of my favorite actors are Sean Penn, Marlon Brando, and Kevin Spacey.
My goal on this site is to introduce you to both sides of the cinema world. To the big stars, big budgets, and big releases. But also let you know about those little known gems that will feature future stars, and feature great directors. I love seeing a movie with the big stars, but I also love seeing an unknown come into focus or the creativity of Indy cinema.
I will be giving you honest, hard-nosed, and detailed reviews using my knowledge of not only the world, but of Cinema. I will also interview some people involved in the movie industry and figure out what makes them tick, and their goals.
Thanks for reading this and if you wish to contact me, please do at: tony@comicbookbin.com
