This issue I have to say wasn't quite up to the usual high standards. Now not to say it was bad, because it was still enjoyable and there were still Vaughan’s sprinkling of pop culture references that make you smile. It’s just that the story didn't have the same spark as usual. I wouldn't say it was rushed, but the way things unfolded didn't really seem to fit into the dynamic that had been created so far. Saying this though, we are given some major clues to who the mole could be. But are they just red herrings!

The thing that has hampered this story some what has been the interior art. The fluctuation in quality is strange. One panel can be nice, the next a complete contradiction. An example of this is the way characters ages change from panel to panel. Most of the time Molly looked older than Dagger. And Gertrude looked like she was in her early 20's, which really didn't fit. On the plus side, Cloak looked great throughout. The air of mystery was captured well. And once again Middleton delivered a fantastic cover.
