The fan made movie is based in the original Robotech continuity. It doesn’t follow any of the "Shadow Chronicles" productions.
The movie is a retelling of the first saga about the beginnings of Robotech involving what happens after the arrival of the SDF-1 (The Super Dimension Fortress) to Earth. There will be familiar characters; Rick Hunter, Lisa Hayes, Roy Fokker, Ben Dixon, Capt. Henry Gloval, and Khyron. Expect to Mechas from all the generations; Invids, Bioroids, Battlepods, Varitechs, and Destroids among others.
The movie creator is Nenad Petrovic from Serbia incorporating cooperation from people in different parts of the world.
The movie is made entirely in 3d with cell shaded renders or animations.
