Ubisoft revealed details today about brand new downloadable content for its recently released Prince of Persia title, in the form of an epilogue adventure for the game. The new pack, called the Prince of Persia Epilogue , will include a new region, a new power, over three hours of fresh gameplay, a new attack, more unlockable skins and will be available exclusively for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions of the game (at least for now).

The new region is The Underground Palace, a corrupted area from which the Prince and Elika will have to escape. Players will have to pick up the pace, as along with the new region comes a new trap challenge. Enemies will be tougher, traps will be more abundant and the level design will be even slicker than before. That's the impression we're getting from the press release anyway.

The Prince will have some extra help though, with the new Energize power, which can temporarily rebuild destroyed areas of the environment to create a path for the Prince to run through before they crumble again. The new Sprinting Clash attack will throw the Prince and an enemy running at each other, with their swords clashing as they meet.

Finally, the new unlockable skins. Originally available only by finishing the PC version of the game with 1001 Light Seeds, the Prototype Prince and Elika, part of the early development of the game, are now available for the console versions of the game as well.

The Prince of Persia Epilogue downloadable content pack will be available on February 26 th . The pack is currently priced at 9.99 Euros, but North American pricing for the Live Marketplace or Playstation Network have not yet been announced. Prince of Persia is rated T for Teen.
