The Origin of an Ancient Gift

For 13 issues The Ancient One has bestowed upon seemingly random people special powers that can be used for either good or evil. The consequences of the use of these powers can never be predicted, and at times they turn on the receiver. Up until now the Ancient One's motives have been kept a mystery, but in Issue #14 writer/creator Raven Gregory promises all will be revealed.
"I've been dying to get to this point, to be able to cap off the first arc of The Gift in a way fans will enjoy," explains Gregory. "This is not the end of The Gift. I've always viewed this as an epic in the sense of Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. We've only scratched the surface.
"After answering the BIG question many fans will want to know what's next. THE GIFT will re-launch again later next year where readers will see all the previous bearers of the Ancient One's gifts come back into play to reveal where the series has been building to since issue one. Besides wanting to know the secret behind the Ancient One's motives, fans have been dying to know what has happened to the other bearers. Next year's series dives head long into answering that question.

| The Waking |
The Waking will debut in later this year from SpaceDog Comics. Until the re-launch of The Gift, two trades will remain available: Volume 1: CHOICES and Volume 2: CONSEQUENCES. The television rights for The Gift are in negotiations.
