Marvel Stamps From the United States Postal Service

Marvel Comics, along with Disney, Ella Fitzgerald and many other institutions and personalities are set to appear as the new 2007 collection of stamps from the United Postal Service.

Released in July 2007, Marvel characters, Captain America, Elektra, Iron Man, Silver Surfer, Spider-Man, Spider-Woman, Sub-Mariner, The Incredible Hulk, The
Thing and Wolverine will grace ten stamps.  Another ten stamps will feature classic comic book covers from Marvel Comics. These comics are Amazing Spider-Man, issue #1, Marvel Spotlight, issue #32, The Incredible Hulk, issue #1, Captain America, issue #100, Sub-Mariner, issue #1, X-Men, issue #1, Daredevil, issue #176, Fantastic Four, issue #3, Silver Surfer, issue #1 and Iron Man, issue #1.

The stamps feature artwork from artists such as Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, Gil Kane, John Buscesma, Sol Brodsky, Frank Miller and Gene Colan. On the back of each stamps contain information about the character, year of publication and the artists.
