Good-girl artist, Joe Pekar, brings his unique art style to Silent Devil Productions, with the debut of 'Brandi Bare'.  'Brandi Bare' is a whimsical story that follows Brandi's freshman year away from home and into the world of the college campus.  Joe teams with longtime writing partner Jeff Outlaw to bring Brandi and her friends out of the dark and into the dorm.

Joe's pinup work has recently been published by SQP, inc. as a full color art book titled 'The Art of Joe Pekar: Naughty Girls'. He also self published a color art book called 'Pigtails'. Signed copies of both books are available on his site http://www.joepekar.com (And he usually does a sketch of some sort in them as well.) Joe was the colorist on Project Eon #1 (shipping from Markosia) and many pieces for the gaming site Penny-Arcade.

Brandi Bare will be his first foray into fully drawing and coloring his own book.

"'Brandi Bare' is a comic I've wanted to do for a long time. Jeff and I have been kicking this story back and forth between us for a couple years. So I'm really glad to see that Silent Devil is letting us take our story and run with it. Plus I get to draw the things I really enjoy, like girls, pillow fights, magic and monsters...and more girls."

Jeff says, "This Brandi story is really about having fun, being away from home for the first time, and making friends.  It is a male view of the female world, so it's probably a bit skewed, but I'm fairly sure we are mostly factually correct.  I mean, pillow fights happen every night in college dorms, don't they?"

Lauren Perry, Executive Editor for Silent Devil Productions, states, "We're very excited to have the opportunity to work with Joe and Jeff on their first sequential venture. I fell in love with Joe's artwork from his first Death print that I stumbled across. He has an amazing amount of talent.  It's exciting to be able to help bring Joe's art to a more diverse audience."

'Brandi Bare' will be a 48 page full color, digitally painted book shipping next summer from Silent Devil Productions.
