Starting January 1, the Shooting Star Comics Strip Club at www.shootingstarcomics.com will offer serialized stories in the large 'Sunday Strip' format, introducing our cast of characters to all-new readers on the Internet, as well as entertaining our faithful friends and fans that have followed our features in Shooting Star Comics Anthology and other comic books over the past few years. These free online comics will complement our upcoming print books featuring these characters in further new adventures that they'll be starring in during the New Year.

First off, Scott McCullar (Green Arrow Secret Files) will inaugurate the line of web comics on January 1 beginning an epic 52-chapter serial in Thrill Seeker Comics featuring the Yellow Jacket: Man of Mystery! This serialized online web strip, entitled "War As I Knew It," follows the vigilante from death row to a high-stakes rescue mission during WWII when asked to help his country in return for his release. Thrill Seeker Comics will run a new chapter every Sunday morning throughout 2006.

Expanding now to longer, full-color features reminiscent of 1940’s Sunday adventure strips, writer/artist McCullar’s pulp action-adventure series previously appeared in each and every issue of the black-and-white Shooting Star Comics Anthology as a series of 8-page shorts. To give readers a home base, a brand new website was launched this week at www.thrillseekercomics.com to be a compendium and source of information for the continuing series.

With an upcoming entire year's worth of free weekly online strips running to whet your appetite, Shooting Star Comics plans to launch a new 96-page Thrill Seeker Comics digest graphic novel series in late 2006 that he is concurrently working on. Each pulp fiction book-sized digest will have four complete stories in full-color to be written and drawn by McCullar.

Next, Yankee Doodle: The Living Scribble will spring out of the pages of Shooting Star Comics Anthology on January 14 into a twelve-part online adventure featuring the 'Living Scribble's' confounding of a secret organization's efforts to discover his secrets. Written by Scott E. Hileman, with art by Chris Franklin and Ethan Colchamiro, Yankee Doodle runs every Saturday!

To complete the initial wave of first-launched strips, a fashionably late Nick Landime begins a 24-chapter voyage to and through the Land of Oz on February 1 in a serial from writer/artist Erik Burnham. Previously, Nick Landime was also featured in Shooting Star Comics Anthology, and most recently, appeared in the humorous one-shot Nick Landime Versus the World Crime League. The upcoming Nick Landime web strip will run every Wednesday starting in February.

Back issues of previous books that these features appeared in can be found at our online emporium can by visiting www.shootingstarcomics.com or accessing the secure-online store directly by going to www.shootingstarcomics.safeshopper.com .

Other strips are planned and will launch throughout 2006, available at www.shootingstarcomics.com and www.webcomicsnation.com. The Shooting Star Comics Strip Club will also be a new place for comic creators to try out new features on readers in a new showcase and to offer original or reprinted materials.
