Comic book writer's resource website, SCRYPTIC STUDIOS (http://www.scrypticstudios.com), announced today a joint-endorsement deal with Write Brothers, Inc. (http://www.screenplay.com) - makers of many screenwriting programs!

This new agreement will combine the two sites - each a well-known giant in their respective industry - to broaden their content, resources, and expertise to better serve writers of all kinds.

"Write Brothers is excited to be joining forces with the premiere writer's resource on the internet. This partnership will benefit writers of all industries. We especially look forward to working with Scryptic Studios to further develop tools for the comic book industry" said Jason M. Eng, Sales and Marketing Manager of Write Brothers.

As part of the writers' agreement, Write Brothers, Inc. will endorse Scryptic Studios as their official resource for writing comics - referring some of Write Brothers' 40,000 monthly visitors and 80,000 newsletter subscribers to the popular comic book writing website. In addition, Scryptic and Write Brothers, Inc. have agreed to a shared content agreement, wherein Scryptic original feature stories can be displayed on Write Brothers' own popular screenwriting website, Screenplay.com - which is undergoing a total design makeover.

Lastly, Write Brothers, Inc. will also be hosting their all-new message board on Scryptic Studios' existing forum, allowing the two communities to intermix and share ideas and discussions.

Widely known for their popular screenwriting software, Movie Magic Screenwriter (the official scriptwriting software of HBO's Project Greenlight, WGA-East, and many Hollywood writers, actors, and directors), Write Brothers, Inc. will work alongside Scryptic writers to add a complete and comprehensive comic book writing feature into an upcoming release of their scriptwriting software.

"This will be the first time there has ever been a comic book writing program on the market, and we're really excited to be a part of it," said Scryptic Studios co-founder and Chief Administrator, Ryan Scott Ottney. "There have been several substitutions for lacking such a resource, but never anything as complete as what we hope to assemble here. We're all comic book writers, and we know what we'd like to see, so you can bet it will be useful and specifically aimed at the needs of the growing comic book writing market!"

Other software produced by Write Brothers, Inc. include StoryView, Word Menu, and Dramatica, which Writer's Digest calls, "the most versatile and dynamic program of its kind, Dramatica is a sophisticated and intuitive tool that can benefit both the novice and the professional."

On Scryptic's side of this agreement, the comic book writing website will endorse Write Brothers, Inc. software as The Official Scriptwriting Software of Scryptic Studios, and help promote the company and their products to comic book writers.

"They have a great product," said Ottney, "and we've been referring our visitors to their programs ever since we opened our doors, so this just feels right to us. We hope that this is just the start of a long and mutually-beneficial relationship!"
