When the Guardian of Hell’s Kitchen becomes imbued with the powers of Captain Universe, Daredevil becomes one of the most powerful heroes on the planet in Captain Universe/Daredevil. What powers you ask? How about the power of sight? That do anything for you. Well, the power of sight and enough raw energy to snuff out a sun.

Continuing from the Captain Universe/Hulk one-shot, the Uni-power is still in the sights of a mysterious enemy bent on its destruction when it bonds with Matt Murdock in order to save itself.

“One of the most exciting things about working in the Marvel Universe is the chance to pair up characters who, on the surface, appear to no reason to appear in the same story,” says writer Jay Faerber. “Daredevil is usually portrayed as a street-level, almost noir character, so he's probably not the first character that pops into your head when you think "cosmic-level story" ... but that's exactly what made his role so appealing.”

Captain Universe/Daredevil is the second part of the Captain Universe event month which continues in Captain Universe/X-23, Captain Universe/Invisible Woman, and Captain Universe/Silver Surfer.

“Daredevil's chapter in November's Captain Universe storyline is a crucial one, and both tie up some threads developed in the Hulk chapter, and also plants the seeds for developments in the X-23 chapter,” says Faerber. This event is bringing together a lot of diverse characters, and that sort of diversity is best found in a playground as rich and varied as the Marvel Universe.”
