Zartan Escapes from Josh Blaylock's Mind

Writer Josh Blaylock is back, and he’s bringing Zartan with him! Along with Joe Casey’s ongoing story, a separate 2 part series will push its way into G.I. Joe America's Elite #5 and G.I. Joe America's Elite #6. This extra story features Josh Blaylock at the helm (G.I. Joe, Arashikage Showdown, Kore) and will shed light in a dark corner of Zartan’S world while dropping two of our favorite G.I. Joe characters into the thick of it, once again.

“Joe Casey hit the ground running and has kept a serious pace from jump,” explains DDP editor Mike O’Sullivan. “We can see the full force of his large-scale story while focusing in on the covert aspect of the team. It’s impossible to get enough of everything he’s bringing to the table!”

“Out of all the G.I. Joe stories I’ve written, those involving the Dreadnoks were the most well received,” says Josh Blaylock. “So I’m excited to do this story. It really gets to the heart of Zartan and his siblings.”

Both stories in G.I. Joe America's Elite #5 and #6 are on the same continuum, so you don’t have to take notes to figure out the little stuff. G.I. Joe America's Elite #5 and #6 will both be $4.50, 48pgs featuring the artwork of both Stefano Caselli and Imaginary Friends Studio.
