The 10th Annual International Comic Art Festival has invited Bob Andelman, author of the forthcoming biography Will Eisner: A Spirited Life (M Press/Dark Horse) to be a keynote presenter during an afternoon devoted to the life and work of legendary comic artist and writer Will Eisner (The Spirit; A Contract With God; The Plot) on October 15, 2005 at the Library of Congress, James Madison Building, West Dining Room, in Washington, D.C.
The event is free and open to the public.
Andelman joins a distinguished group of speakers and presenters including: filmmakers Andrew Cooke and Jon B. Cooke (Will Eisner: The Spirit of an Artistic Pioneer); Craig Fischer; R. Fiore; Paul Grist; 2005 ICAF Chair Charles Hatfield; Marc Singer; and Eisner collaborator Benjamin Herzberg (The Plot: The Secret Story of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion).

The Will Eisner Tribute is just the final segment of programming during the three-day International Comic Art Festival, which runs October 13-15. Other featured guests include: pioneering cartoonist and Golden Age Batman artist Jerry Robinson; legendary Chinese cartoonist Fang Cheng; U.K. Cartoonist and comic book creator Paul Grist; Herblock archives curator Harry Katz; Baltimore Sun editorial cartoonist Kevin (KAL) Kallaugher; syndicated editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes; and Washington Post editorial cartoonist Tom Toles.
