Counting down to San Diego, International Enterprise has signed another major publisher for their foreign licensing representation. The star-studded Arcana Studios was formed in 2004 by Sean Patrick O'Reilly and immediately began publishing comics in the US. Now, five of their best titles are available through International Enterprise to foreign publishers all over the world.

One of the most promising publishers in the industry, Arcana publishes everything from licensed properties to fantasy, adventure and mystery, with movie and video-game developments in the works. The young publisher was also the recent recipient of a Shuster Award for Outstanding Publisher, as voted by readers and retailers. The first story-arcs of 100 GIRLS, ANT, KADE, EZRA and STARKWEATHER represent the initial wave of diverse Arcana titles to find their international home with the Enterprise.

Sylvia is one of a hundred girls bred as part of a shady government experiment, and she plans to find out how she knows and why it has happened in the sci-fi thriller 100 GIRLS. Issues #1-7 are written by Adam Gallard with full color art by Todd Demong. "100 Girls has received tremendous acclaim from the Metronews, Georgia Straight, Wizard's Secret Stash and is even being developed into a live-action series," Publisher O'Reilly adds.

The first four issues of ANT follow young Hannah through her troubled childhood, where she escapes into the fantasy world of her notebook to become the superheroine Ant and solve the mystery of her father's false arrest. Written by Sean O'Reilly, Ken F. Levin and Mario Gully, Ant is illustrated in full color by Mario Gully, with a cover by J. Scott Campbell.

Alexander STARKWEATHER is a powerful witch with an inferiority complex, prophetic dreams and a belligerent talking iguana. But he's also the only witch willing to stand against his own kind to save young Danny Golden in this supernatural five-issue miniseries by David Rodriquez with full color artwork by John Bosco.

KADE is the enigmatic warrior incapable of emotions in this five-issue fantasy adventure by Sean O'Reilly with full color art by Allan Otero. Seeking the death of Apollyon, the gothic demon hunter Kade must uncover the secrets of the Black Sun while struggling with his own physical limitations and ideas of being a hero. "His greatest adventure may lie just on the horizon as Kade is being developed into a video game for the Next-Gen systems," O'Reilly reveals.

A spin-off from the world of Kade, EZRA is a medieval mercenary for hire who strikes fear into the toughest medieval hearts. Growing up on her own and raised amongst the Black Sun, Ezra can take care of herself, and often has to in the course of her adventures. The first four issues of EZRA are also written by Sean O'Reilly with full color artwork by Alfonso Ruiz. "Ezra is still Arcana's top selling book to date," O'Reilly comments. "Many people believe Ezra has 'Drew Barrymore' appeal."

"Arcana is putting out some of the best books I have seen lately, and we're happy to have them aboard," adds Tim Hegarty, International Rights Manager. "Now it's up to us to make sure readers abroad get to enjoy these comics, too."

ARCANA titles are available through International Enterprise in all territories except Italy and Spain. For more information on Arcana Studios and their other titles, please visit:
