DIGITAL WEBBING PRESENTS celebrates its 25th issue in September, and everyone's invited as Jay Faerber (NOBLE CAUSES) brings his FIREBIRDS to DWP, along with some returning favorites: THE MASK OF THE GARGOYLE, and THE LAST PALADIN!

"We're very excited that Jay would want his FIREBIRDS to visit DWP," said Digital Webbing's Managing Editor, Ed Dukeshire. "In the beginning when we started this series, I never could have imagined this kind of support or how many professionals would come to join us. DWP is where it's at today because of so many talented and generous creators like Jay."

"FIREBIRDS," written & co-created by Jay Faerber, artwork and co-created by Andres Ponce, and colors by Ryan Vera.

"This special FIREBIRDS story stands independent from the FIREBIRDS one-shot I put out through Image Comics," said Faerber. "It's a brief look into the furthering development of the mother/daughter bond between the Firebirds, as the two heroines have to learn to juggle their priorities and trust each other."

Faerber continues, "I opted to publish this story in DWP because I believe in what Ed Dukeshire is trying to accomplish, and I respect the heck out of him! He designed and lettered the first FIREBIRDS story, so I felt it only made sense to publish this second story on Ed's turf."

Returning this month, after debuting in DWP #20; "THE LAST PALADIN: INTO A STRANGE NEW WORLD," written by Ian Ascher, with art by Mahmud Asrar, colors by Kieran Oats, and letters by Ed Dukeshire.

"THE LAST PALADIN is a mixture of classic fantasy and sci-fi any fan of comics, new or old, can get into," said Ascher. "I've been with Digital Webbing since its inception back in 2001. It's amazing to have been able to see it grow from a black and white book full of short stories by unknown creators into a full-color title with recurring characters and industry professionals. DWP only gets stronger and stronger with each passing issue."

This month finds Dr. Zack Machin and Princess Selera on the run, in search of safe haven, only to be discovered by the dark wizard Osyrus, and his monstrous minion. Even the Last Paladin might not be enough to save the day!

Be sure to check out DWP #26 also, as the adventures of THE LAST PALADIN continue!

Also returning this issue after his explosive debut in DWP #24; "MASK OF THE GARGOYLE: INSIDE & OUT," written by Ron Fortier, penciled by Dario Carrasco Jr. (STAR WARS), and inked by Todd Swain (10th MUSE).

Boston Detective Brigette Helm seeks out Father David Holmes to learn more about his association with the mystery man the papers are calling 'The Gargoyle.' In the course of the interview, the priest of St. Michael's church confides in the young cop his very first meeting with the masked avenger. Thrills and spills galore, in a debut telling of the first Gargoyle story!

DIGITAL WEBBING PRESENTS #25 will hit comic shops everywhere in September, but you can order your copy now in Previews catalog - only $2.95 for 32 full-color pages of fun and excitement!
