Calgary, Canada (March 30, 2007) – The Comic Book Bin, owned by Coolstreak Cartoons Inc., announced that April 2007 will be WOMEN’S MONTH AT THE COMIC BOOK BIN.

THE COMIC BOOK BIN felt that there was an entire world that shunned women instead of welcoming them. We like comic books, action figures, video games, fan films and movies, and don’t see why women wouldn’t enjoy these too. So we’re bridging the gap and invite all women wondering what boys found in all this stuff that takes too much space in the basement to come over and share our passion.

We know that a lot of women enjoy the same forms of entertainment and work side by side with men every day to produce the best comic books, action figures, video games, fan films and movies. We’re also using WOMEN’S MONTH AT THE COMIC BOOK BIN to spotlight the work of women who make a difference in these industries.

During WOMEN’S MONTH AT THE COMIC BOOK BIN, feature stories, interviews and even action figures of female characters will be on hand to entertain both women and men. While there are outlets that cover women’s issues, THE COMIC BOOK BIN wants to make it fun. According to site publisher, Hervé St-Louis “WOMEN’S ‘MONTH AT THE COMIC BOOK BIN is the beginning of a discussion with women that we hope will go further. We’re hoping that if our girlfriends understand why we spend so much on collecting “stuff,” maybe, they’ll collect too!”

The COMIC BOOK BIN is easy to navigate. Articles are organized by seven main topics, comics, movies, games, fan films, action figures, interviews and books. Several of these topics have sub topics within, such as news and reviews. Powerful search engines allow visitors to search all of the articles published since 2002. Articles related to WOMEN’S MONTH AT THE COMIC BOOK BIN will be found in each topics.

The COMIC BOOK BIN is a free comic book online magazine with a strong focus on action figures, video games, fan films and movies.
