Critics, fans, and professionals alike have hailed Nightmare World as "EC sensibility meeting The Twilight Zone," and with weekly updates to NightmareWorld.com made available to the masses every Thursday, a library of over 25 separate eight-page stories currently available online, and with no end to the series in sight, Nightmare World has become an cult phenomenon for comic readers and horror fans alike since its online debut a little over two years ago.

Nightmare World writer and creator Aaron Weisbrod was quick to agree. "Absolutely. Furthermore, I love surfing the ‘net as much as the next guy, but there’s nothing like being able to hold a good book in your hands. Besides, it has been the plan since ‘Day One’ to start bringing these stories into print as graphic novel/TPB collections, and I’m thrilled that we’ve found just the right publisher to help us fulfill this vision in FC9."
Weisbrod was eager to elaborate on what brought Nightmare World to FC9 Publishing. "The biggest reason was how [FC9 President] Tilman Goins has displayed nothing but the utmost integrity since my very first conversation with him. That aside, I was also impressed with the small but talented roster of creators he already has onboard! Nightmare World is going to be published along side books written by Jim (Shadowhawk/Genie) Keplinger and Dan (Obergeist/Hell, MI) Jolley! It’s both exciting and humbling!"

"When considering a collection like this, my two main priorities were packing in as much material as (un)humanly possible while keeping the price-point low, and, again, FC9 shared my vision on this every step of the way." Explained Weisbrod. "This book is packed to the gills with cool stuff – literally from cover to cover – and I’m thrilled that we can offer people a full-color collection that clocks in at almost 100 pages for just below ten bucks."
Nightmare World: "Knee Deep in the Dead" and other Tales of Terror (MAY052772) is solicited in the May Previews (Volume XV #5) and is scheduled to arrive in stores on July 13.

"Weisbrod has a cock-eyed sense of humor that allows him to constantly go ahead and take a left turn towards the end of each story while veering through a myriad of topics. These are weird, highly enjoyable stories."
-- Jason Henderson,Writer, Sword of Dracula

-- Arvid Nelson, Writer/Co-Creator, Rex Mundi
"Are you sure these stories won’t get you in trouble at your teaching job?"
