NEW PEOPLE LAUNCHES A JAPANESE TRAVELOGUE ONLINE MAGAZINE NEW PEOPLE TRAVEL FOR NORTH AMERICAN AUDIENCES

New Website To Be Updated Every Monday With Insightful Personal Stories By An Eclectic Collection Of Artists And Creative Visionaries; Debut Edition Features Ghost In The Shell Director Mamoru Oshii

NEW PEOPLE, Inc, a San Francisco-based entertainment company bringing the latest examples of Japanese popular culture to North American shores, has announced the launch of NEW PEOPLE Travel, an intriguing new free online travelogue that gives readers an opportunity to see colorful new sides of Japan through the eyes of an eclectic collection of artists and creative visionaries that are recognized around the world.

The debut edition of NEW PEOPLE Travel features an article by famed anime director Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell, Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence, Sky Crawlers), one of the most respected and renowned Japanese film directors of our time.

Future NEW PEOPLE Travel stories will include essays by Dice Tsutsumi (Art Director at Pixar, Toy Story 3), Katsuhito Ishii (Director, Redline, The Taste of Tea, Funky Forest), and Yoshitaka Amano (Artist, Final Fantasy, Gatchaman, Vampire Hunter D) among others.
