The second part of a three-chapter story where the Injustice Society plots to break into the JSA headquarters to steal the Cosmic Key. This may be a "caper" type story where we end up sympathizing with the villains but it starts to drag in this issue with too much time spent showing the bad guys just chatting and plotting. The eventual confrontation between the JSA and the Injustice Society is not the exciting conflict depicted in the cover but is actually rather static and confusing with characters just popping up out of nowhere. The art does not help as it leaves many of the characters looking flat and boring. The Wizard and the Gentleman Ghost are particularly hampered in this respect. There are some major twists here but the creators trot them out so indifferently, it is hard to tell if we are supposed to be surprised.
