This issue was the most hilarious of all. Finally someone said about Wonder Woman what many had been thinking all these years about the character. The first time Fire called her a bitch, it was lettered very small as if to pass through a censor's lense. The second time, it was made clear that she was indeed a bitch! The best part is Mary Marvel almost referring to her as a bitch soon after.

This issue, the JLA guess stars, allowing fans to see just what is different in the JLI incarnation of the team and the current one. Whereas the JLA are gods, the JLI are you're average heroes, not always successful and sometimes, downright incompetent. Plasticman's comparison with Ralph Dibny is priceless. Flash, J'onn and Batman's reactions were funny.

Maguire continues to deliver great boards! I'm neither a fan of his Xena-like Wonder Woman, his Gnort or the way he draws the Martian Manhunter's eyebrows, but his Plasticman is incredible and very cartoony. His work is much more solid than it was way back in 1987. Everything flowed in place and there doesn't seem to be any extra panels or useless splash pages. Great stuff.
