The Green Lantern Corps is facing a team of villains that can negate their Green Lantern powers and use them against them. The destruction of the Green Lantern Corps is the objectives and with more Lanterns losing limbs and their lives, what can Guy Gardner, John Stewart and their team do against these new opponents.

This story is thrilling and kept the suspense as high as the previous issue. Of course we find out more about the threat to the Corps. It was a bit of a let down that somehow the Green Lanterns were still able to wrestle enough control over the Green Lantern energy through their will to fend off their opponents. It felt almost like a cheat to give the heroes some breathing room against an opponent they otherwise could not defeat. Still, it’s a great story worth picking up. The Green Lantern series post 52 really are the best DC Comics has to offer.

Pasarin’s work is crisp and detailed. He’s good with alien designs too. He also knows how to create dread and anguish. Most of this story is about the perceived threat of the aliens. We don’t see them do much damage on panel. Pasarin is good at hinting at stuff that occurs off page and creates dread.
