Archie Andrews and Geoffrey Giraffe are teaming up to launch the brand new LIFE WITH ARCHIE magazine debuting this August! Until recently, Toys Я Us carried a limited selection of magazines and comics. Now, through the combined marketing efforts of Kable News and Select Media Services, Archie Comic Publications, Inc. will have a huge presence in ALL 585 US  Toys Я Us stores!

"The partnership with Toys Я Us is a perfect fit. We both focus on providing high quality entertainment to children of all ages,” remarked Archie Comics Publisher, Jon Goldwater. “There is no better combination anywhere than America's Favorite Teenager and the World's Greatest Toy Store!"

The ARCHIE comic book and both Sonic titles, SONIC THE HEDGEHOG and SONIC UNIVERSE, will be in a special rack to be located in the Collectors section of every Toys Я Us store. The brand new magazine LIFE WITH ARCHIE will be featured at the checkout, also in all Toys Я Us stores.

The already wildly popular LIFE WITH ARCHIE magazine presents the married life of Archie Andrews to both the rich and vivacious brunette, Veronica, and the beautiful blond girl-next-door, Betty. The two new series spring out of the acclaimed "The Archie Wedding: Archie in Will You Marry Me?" storyline. Both stories are available exclusively in the LIFE WITH ARCHIE magazine along with extra star-studded bonus features!

“This is great additional newsstand exposure for the comics and a great platform for the launch of the LIFE WITH ARCHIE magazine. We are thrilled to have Toys Я Us join our other retail partners,” said Archie Comics Director of Circulation, Bill Horan.

Archie Comics’ magazines and comic books will be available in all US Toys Я Us stores beginning August 2010
