Late last week, Sumthing Else Music Works announced that, through its licensing relationship with Capcom, it will be releasing Street Fighter IV Original Soundtrack and Resident Evil 5 Original Soundtrack (yes, those are actually the proper names, we

didn't miss a “the” in the titles) tomorrow, Tuesday, May 26th. These will be the first official North American retail releases of Capcom's soundtracks, just two of a few to come as part of Capcom's recently announced partnership with Sumthing Else.

Street Fighter IV Original Soundtrack (or Street Fighter IV OST) takes all of your favourite backing tracks from the game's intense fights, reflects the Street Fighter characters' international styles, and “offers exciting new directions for classic Street Fighter melodies”. Created by composer Hideyuki Fukasawa, the songs in this two-disc set should be enjoyable for both long-time fans of the franchise and newcomers as well. You can check out some of the tracks for yourself at the Soundtracks' official page on Sumthing Else's website.

Also, as if scaring the crap out of yourself while playing the game wasn't enough, you can now relive the horror of the most recent Resident Evil title at home, on the road, or

maybe even in in bed as you try to fall asleep (good luck) with Resident Evil 5 Original Soundtrack (Resident Evil 5 OST). This collection of songs and sounds from Capcom's recently released action-horror game, arranged by composer Kota Suzuki, will be released as a three-disc set. You can find a number of tracks from the Soundtrack available for listening at its official page on Sumthing Else's site as well.

Sumthing Else has not announced how much the soundtracks will cost. However, the prices will be listed on their pages when the soundtracks become available for purchase tomorrow. Both soundtracks will be shipping to retail stores tomorrow, and will be digitally available for download via Sumthing Digital, at www.sumthingdigital.com, and iTunes.
