Free DLC Available For Mass Effect On PC

BioWare, a division of Electronic Arts, announced today that it has released free downloadable content for the PC version of Mass Effect . Bring Down the Sky , originally launched for the Xbox 360 version back in March for 400 Microsoft Points, is now available to users of the PC version at no cost. Now fully optimized for PC, Bring Down the Sky is just the first in a series of downloadable content that EA has planned for expanding the Mass Effect story and universe.

In Bring Down the Sky, Batarian extremists have hijacked a mobile asteroid station in the Asgard system, setting it on a collision course with the nearby colony world of Terra Nova. Only Commander Shepard can save the millions of innocent civilians before the asteroid completes its deadly descent.

PC gamers can download Bring Down the Sky from masseffect.bioware.com/downloadablecontent and then install it by launching th eir registered copy of Mass Effect for PC and following the instructions at the launch screen. Bring Down the Sky is currently available for international languages including English, Spanish, Italian and German, with additional language versions coming soon. Mass Effect is rated M for Mature.
