I have to open by saying I am not the biggest fan of this art style. Other comics have won me over with follow up issues read regarding the art and so I will not out and out condemn it, but it isn’t for me. Wonder woman looks a little too cartoonish for my tastes and I feel her stature and power are not conveyed.

On the positive side this issue opens with a lot of action . a price has been out on Wonder Woman and to open the issue she is brawling with some c level villains including catseye and Cheshire and plastique.

There is a lot of internal monologue including some witty commentary in the opening pages. Overall I would say Fontana is adding to the WW mythos without tearing down the work Rucka did on the character.

Rating: 6.5/10
