Turok meets Altani. She comes from the world of the armoured men who control dinosaurs. She is the captain of the skyriders. Trying to survive, she encounters Turok who may fall in love with her. But as the two are about to leave one another, Turok’s old tribe attacks them. Will Turok come back to his estranged people?

This issue was good and expanded the Turok universe. Greg Pak doesn’t reveal much about the anachronisms in the story. We don’t know why dinosaurs exists in this world and why the Europeans have travelled s early to North America. Altani’s introduction is simple. I think she will be an important character later. She is much more interesting than the daughter of the leader of the European invaders introduced much earlier.

I enjoyed Mirko Colak’s artwork this issue. It felt cleaner than in the past. Still, he adds just enough grits to the dinosaurs to make them stand out from the page. The grit reminds me of Gil Kane and Patrick Broderick’s. It gives dynamism to the comic book.
