Norman Osborn is assembling his Dark Avengers again, this time with new recruits. With all the major villainous groups of the world working with him, can anyone stand in his way?

Although I like that these are new Dark Avengers being inducted, there are a lot of gaps in this story for causal readers. I consider myself quite knowledgeable on Marvel Comics, but I had no clue about who were half of the characters Osborn recruited. Sometimes, introducing them by name, telling the reader about their past history or even relying on the old editor’s note in the story can help readers. I should be elated by all these new villains acting as Avengers. I’m not. I’m just dumbfounded as I have no clue to their relevance which means that Bendis didn’t convey the gripping story he wanted to. Also, I thought the Thor clone had completely be destroyed. How long is Marvel going to continue using that silly character?

Deodato made his name drawing Dark Avengers and he’s treading on old grounds here. His Norman Osborn is also the best. He’s the best thing in this issue.
